There seems to be at least 3 possible stickers attached to the iQue original box: a blue one, a red one and a purple one. https://i.imgur.com/UoqnpCY.jpg
The purple one should have a little logo about iQue@Home on it: https://i.imgur.com/Wpdv9vR.png this means that the console has a firmware updated to be connected to PC via USB; this can be a good method to check if the uinit you are going to buy is PC-connectable or not. We do not have enough information about red and blue stickers, if you have please contact us.
If you have a unit which is not recognized by PC you have 2 ways:
1 - give your uinit to a person with an USB-connectable iQUe; 2 - directly flash an updated nand on your unit
